Interpretation of Dreams — Privacy Policy

Effective 8 September 2026. This policy applies to all Divine Series mobile apps: Treasures of the Sacred Qur'ān, Interpretation of Dreams, and Qur'ān · Bible · Science.

1. Who we are

Divine Series is an independent, faith-driven publisher of Islamic mobile apps. We are not owned by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any government, madhhab authority, or corporate entity beyond the developer account holder.

2. What data we collect

• Anonymous device identifier — a locally-generated UUID stored in device secure storage. Used to sync purchases and Passport across the 3 apps. Never linked to your name, email, phone, Apple ID, or Google account.
• Purchase receipts — Apple and Google send us the receipt / order token when you buy a Lifetime Unlock or Bundle. Stored to verify entitlement. Contains no personal information.
• Aggregate analytics — screen views, buttons tapped, streak length. All fully anonymous, no IP address stored beyond the 90-day web-log retention window.
• Optional: if you write to support@divineseries.app, we keep your email until the ticket is resolved.

3. What we do NOT collect

• Name, phone, email (unless you email us), Apple ID, Google account.
• Location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar.
• Advertising IDs (IDFA / GAID). We serve no ads.
• Financial data (card numbers, bank details). All payments go through Apple or Google — we only see the anonymised receipt.

4. Sharing & third parties

We share the anonymous device identifier with the following processors strictly to deliver the service:

• Apple & Google — purchase verification only.
• MongoDB Atlas (EU) — encrypted-at-rest store of Passport and purchase state.
• Google Gemini & Anthropic Claude — when you use the "Ask Sheikh" feature, your question text only is sent to the model. No device ID, no history, no personal metadata is included. Prompts are not used to train these models.
• Render.com & Sentry.io — hosting and crash reporting. IP address is logged for 90 days for security only.

We never sell data. We never use data for marketing. We never share data with advertisers.

5. Cross-app Passport

When you install any 2 of our apps, you can link them with a 6-character Passport code. This is optional. Nothing but the anonymous device UUID and the app-specific "unlocked" flag crosses between apps. You can view or delete your Passport at any time inside each app.

6. Children

Our apps carry a "Rated for 4+ / Everyone" classification and comply with COPPA and UK ICO Age Appropriate Design. No behavioural profiling, no contact features, no ads. Parental gate on all external links.

7. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

• Access: email us and we'll list what we hold against your Passport code.
• Erasure: tap Settings → Reset Anonymous Passport inside any app, or email us. We delete within 7 days.
• Portability: your bookmarks, dream journal, and Sheikh history are stored on-device and exportable via the in-app "Export" button.

8. Security

All network traffic uses TLS 1.3. All server-side data is encrypted at rest. Purchase receipts are HMAC-signed before storage. We run automated security scans on every backend deployment.

9. Changes

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll post a notice on the affected app's Passport screen and update the "Effective" date above.
